When are we going to call a state of emergency and have other agencies assist the Paterson authorities. Bringing back this city starts with small things. The cops just drive past cars double parked overnight with no care in the world, not to mention loitering. Maybe because most of them do not live here?

They don’t want to quiet things down. It’ll ruin their bottom line ($$$) and create less of a need for their superficial positions. I agree on the double parking..esp along “Park Ave between E.32nd/Vreeland” (Who’s district is that anyways?) Complete lawlessness. And that’s just in moving violations lol Far as the victim; chances are he was common 4th Ward scum and had it coming.

Paterson Police do nothing because it starts from the top. From the Police Chiefntonthe politicians a do nothing approach is more acceptable. And mind you if the officer is white and he actually tries to perform his job and a confrontation occurs because the criminal refuses to comply then this entire administration along with so many in this community would actually label the white officer a racist and enough loud mouths repeat it this white officer will be fired and probably even criminally charged. So I tell all officers in Paterson if you want to keep your sanity, your freedom and your life, then just show up for work and don't intervene when a true officer is really suppose to. Its a shame but so true these days.

When will this Mayor and Police.Chief do something. BLM are more worried.about trying to.trigger racism then the killings of so many blacks by other blacks. All lives matter
