A man from Pennsylvania and a woman from Paterson were wounded in a shooting on Carroll Street on Wednesday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victims – 39-year-old man from Kingston, Penn. and a 60-year-old woman from Paterson – were struck by gunfire at around 9 a.m. on Carroll and Governor streets. Both suffered non-fatal injuries and were rushed to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities said the man is in critical condition.
The incident is the second shooting in Paterson in under 14 hours. On Tuesday night, two men, 32-year-old and 19-year-old, were wounded in a shooting on Paterson Avenue and Liberty Street.
