A city woman was wounded in a shooting on North Main Street early Sunday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 35-year-old, was struck by gunfire on North Main Street and Haledon Avenue at around 3:25 a.m.

Police said the victim arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a gunshot wound

Her injuries are non-fatal, authorities said.

The victim is the third person shot in a 12-hour span in Paterson. Two men were injured in a shooting on Elizabeth Street and Getty Avenue on Saturday afternoon. Both men sustained non-fatal gunshot injuries.
