A 17-year-old arrived at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center early Wednesday morning seeking treatment for a graze wound, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim’s injuries are non-fatal, authorities said. Police were advised of the victim’s arrival at the hospital at around 3:44 a.m.
Authorities initially believed the victim sustained a gunshot wound. But on further medical review it was determined the victim sustained a graze wound unrelated to the discharge of a firearm, authorities said.
