Yesterday's news. and the day before. and the day before. and the day before.

Since this location is where all the action is why don’t the cops just set up shop there. I’m beginning to think that the visible cameras and other electronic surveillance equipment is either unmonitored, broken or just for show. It doesn’t seem to be serving any purpose.

That entire area is saturated with both a visible and covert police presence. Not to mention the Mobile Command Center which is stationed a block or 2 away, along with numerous cameras and various other surveillance means. It appears that none of it is discouraging their activity. It has become so rampant in that area that I honestly have no clue how they can go about stopping it.

Those cameras are not manned meaning they are not monitored ever I know this for a fact "read between the lines" the mobile command on carrol and governor in not manned 97.8% of the time That's an internal PPD number. It's all for show and the people on the street know it, actually they are the first to know because they are out there all the time watching that's their job just like you know what is going on at your place of employment, so all the cameras is only for show and if there is shooting that the cameras catch then they will go back and watch it and with any luck the shooter poses for a picture and gets caught and if doesn't then you will never hear about it again. PPD detectives are the laziest I have ever, let me just say I have ever saw. They joke about their slogan should lazy corrupt and Very Well Paid
