Two men were wounded in a shooting on Holsman Street on Saturday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victims, 23 and 19, both of Paterson, were struck by gunfire in the area of Holsman and Hudson streets at around 8:40 p.m.
Police found the 23-year-old victim at the scene and rushed him to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center. Moments later, police were advised a 19-year-old wounded at the same location had arrived at the hospital seeking treatment.
Both victims suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds, authorities said.
Both victims are the latest in a series of escalating shootings in Paterson. Eleven people have been shot, including one fatally, since last Sunday.
