The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission in Paterson will be closed for the second time after an employee tested positive for Covid-19.

Paterson Regional/Licensing Center closed on Tuesday. It will re-open on November 14, according to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.

The Covid-19 positive employee was last at the Paterson office on Friday, October 30. Closure is used to clean and conduct contact tracing to clear enough employees to reopen.

Previously, an employee at the same office tested positive on October 1, leading to a 14-day closure.
