Paterson man hurt in Pennington Street shooting

A city man was wounded in a shooting on Pennington Street late Tuesday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 21-year-old, was wounded at around 10:20 p.m. on Pennington and Market streets.

Police said the victim sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound and was rushed to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Police continue to investigate the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
