And yet this Mayor and New Police Chief run around town during their photo ops complementing themselves. How stupid are Patersonians

  • Miss jamaica

Maybe today after the thanksgiving break we will receive a call from our Mayor addressing this . When there is a shooting there should be a concern on everyone part , this should not happen , a woman is killed I don’t care what she was doing her live matter and a discussion is warranted.
Don’t call us telling us about park rejuvenation, let have a serious conversation about gun violence,
All the churches , the clergy there should and must be a conversation.
What are we waiting for, we are waiting for when our young kids are walking to school shot will fire and our kids are killed . Because these shooters don’t seem to have any regards
This is why I believe all live matter
Ms Jackson live matter but today her family may be planning her funeral.
We are so tired of hearing our hearts and prayers goes out to the family
Let work to fix this .

The only solution is unconstitutional. Road blocks, check points, stop and frisks which worked elsewhere. The problem is the cops cant tell who is a hood and who is worker and innocent people get roughed up

Summer st between Broadway and van houtan is infested with drug dealers addicts and prostitutes open air they conduct business there without a care in the world they know that the police are non existent in this area you have a better chance of seeing aliens then a police car drive by and yes I live in this area and deal with this bullshit everyday the mayor is a total fucking idiot doesn't give a fuck about this problem as long as it's not happening around his hood the police chief has no balls with the exception of the mayor's balls in his mouth going around town bragging about how they're fighting crime and how crime has gone down which is all bullshit Keep voting in the same garbage in, paterson is Doomed

    • Mike Jone

you must not have driven down there recently the police are everywhere down there.

      • Plumber

I don't have to drive I actually live in the area yeah you'll see police around for a few days after something serious happens then it's back to normal no police in sight and if you think that if the police were out there all the time like you say visible not only in this area but all the bad sections of paterson you think you would have such crimes taking place c'mon man be for real

  • HankMorgan

    I’m sorry Miss Jackson.

    • aLdo

      I am for real.

      • HankMorgan

Oh, man. It’s like the more things change, right?

  • Paterson Resident

    We need a new mayor

    • Mike Jone

A new mayor is not going to solved the problem the people are the problem unless we decide enuff is enuff and start doing something about it.

Must’ve been an addicted prostitute who either short-changed her pimp..or was caught red-handed stealing a dealers drug stash. Either way, condolences to her and her family members who still cared for her.
