A teenager was wounded in a shooting on 17th Avenue early Sunday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 15-year-old, was wounded in a shooting on 17th Avenue and East 30th Street at around 1:15 p.m.

Police arrived in the area to investigate report of a shooting. They located a crime scene, but no victim. After police secured the scene, a suspect vehicle drove through the intersection and fired several more rounds, police said.

A short time later, police were flagged down by the victim, who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound. Police rushed the victim to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Earlier on Sunday, a 25-year-old man was wounded in a shooting on Park Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard.

MR. MAYOR WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!!!!

    • TK Kirkland

Good luck waiting on his response. In the meantime, I’ll fill you in..There’s Blood gang war amongst certain “sets”. All the feds have to simply do is unroll the RICO ACT.

      • John

You can't roll out the Rico law here. Patersonian politicians will claim its racist

        • TK Kirkland

          Feds over-ride state any day…

    • Mike Jone

we need to ask the people that question. The mayor not the one doing the shooting. it's like taking your kids to school the teacher tries her best, but the parent don't help the kid do his homework. then blames the teacher for the kid failing.

  • HankMorgan

Maybe one of these posters should rat.

  • John

And yet Patersonians will vote this mayor with his new Police chief right back in

  • MarquinhoGaucho

so the cops were there a car drove by and fired shots with the cops there and they couldn't catch the driver/car??? either that's bad reporting or bad policing
