A teenager was wounded in a shooting on 17th Avenue early Sunday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 15-year-old, was wounded in a shooting on 17th Avenue and East 30th Street at around 1:15 p.m.
Police arrived in the area to investigate report of a shooting. They located a crime scene, but no victim. After police secured the scene, a suspect vehicle drove through the intersection and fired several more rounds, police said.
A short time later, police were flagged down by the victim, who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound. Police rushed the victim to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Earlier on Sunday, a 25-year-old man was wounded in a shooting on Park Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard.
