A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car on East 7th Avenue late Sunday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Jonathan Medina, 29-year-old, of Paterson, was riding a 2015 Honda Ruckus motorcycle at around 3:22 p.m. in the area of East 7th and Wood streets. His motorcycle collided with a 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT that was being operated by a 26-year-old Paterson man.
Medina was injured in the crash. The driver of the Dodge did not sustain any injuries.
Medina was taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. He died at 4:21 p.m., authorities said.
Authorities said the driver of the Dodge presented a valid driver’s license to police.
The crash remains under investigation.
