Two people hurt in latest Paterson shooting

Two city men were wounded in a shooting on Carroll Street late Monday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victims, 22 and 28, were struck by gunfire on Carroll and Governor streets at around 4:23 p.m.

Both victims arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds, authorities said.

Paterson has had three shootings since Christmas Day.

Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.

this town ,especially that area, is war zone…..this is reason why BLM and all those movements don't have real credibility with anyone without political or anarchy agenda….this is where BLM movements should step in….killings weekly where blacks kill blacks…how about protecting your own…step in where it matters and then maybe you get a real support from citizens who are not "woke" because it is trendy ,but 'woke' because they care and it really matters
