The police located a vehicle with a bullet hole in the rear right bumper while responding to report of a shooting on Godwin Avenue on Thursday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police said two victims were inside the vehicle. Neither victim is being identified because of the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act. Neither of the victims were injured, authorities said.

Detectives determined the suspect shot at the motor vehicle in the area of Godwin Avenue and Carroll Street while the victims were trying to flee at around 2:45 p.m.
