A city man was wounded in a shooting on Carroll Street on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 28-year-old, was struck by gunfire in the area of Carroll Street and 12th Avenue at around 2:51 p.m., authorities said.
An unknown assailant approached and fired a handgun in the victim’s direction, police said.
Police said the victim arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
