A city man was killed in a shooting on Summer Street early Sunday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police found the victim, 45-year-old Raaseon Adams, lying on the sidewalk outside of 225 Summer Street with apparent gunshot wounds at around 6:51 p.m. He was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.
Adams was pronounced dead at 7:10 p.m., authorities said.
Paterson has seen a spate of shootings over the weekend. Four other people were wounded in shootings over the weekend.
