Paterson man struck by gunfire on 14th Avenue

A city man was wounded in a shooting on 14th Avenue early Saturday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 20-year-old, was walking on 14th Avenue near East 21st Street at around 3:23 a.m. when he was shot by an unknown gunman.

Police located the victim on Broadway and East 23rd Street suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. He was taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.

    You can't walk in Paterson without thinking about these random drive-by shootings. Many teens are carrying guns and shooting for pleasure!

    Is this Mayor along with new Police Chief ever going to be held accountable? Or will STUPID (99.9%) Patersonians reward him by electing him back into office. I could see a.Muslims intent on voting for him because of just being a Muslim but I cannot see anyone with atleast half a brain reelecting him based on his horrible performance. He could try to put blame.elsewhere but it's all worse under his watch.
