A city man has been indicted for allegedly sexually abusing two children, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Muniru Owe, 71-year-old, was indicted on sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal sexual contact by a Passaic County grand jury.

Owe allegedly committed sexual offenses against two children at a residence in Haledon from June 2000 through June 2019, authorities said.

Owe could face a lengthy prison sentence if convicted on the charges.
