A man from Georgia was killed in a shooting in Paterson, New Jersey late Monday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Nadir Johnson, 35, of Covington, Georgia, was found lying on the sidewalk in front of 216 17th Avenue at around 11 p.m. He had apparent gunshot wounds.
Police rendered aid at the scene and called an ambulance.
Johnson was transported to Saint Joseph’s Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased, authorities said.
No arrests have been made.
