The police arrested four people, two drug dealers and two buyers, in a bust on Summer Street, seizing more than $5,500 in suspected drug proceeds on Monday, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.

Police arrested Keith Devita, 27; Samantha Jackson, 51; Delshawn Howard, 30; and Laura Garces, 26, on various drug charges. They seized 119 Alprazolam, 105 Oxycodone pills, 30 vials of vials of crack cocaine, and 5 glassine envelopes of heroin.

Detectives set up surveillance on Summer and Van Houten streets after receiving complaints from residents. They observed Devita and Jackson working together in selling drugs in the area.

Howard and Garces allegedly bought drugs from the pair. They were followed out of the area and found with drugs.

Police then arrested Devita and Jackson, seizing the more drugs and $5,510 cash.
