Paterson man wounded in Main Street shooting


A man was wounded in a shooting on Main Street early Sunday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 23-year-old, of Paterson, was struck by gunfire on Main and Weiss streets at around 3:32 a.m.

Police arrived at the scene, but could not locate a victim. Moments later, the victim arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
