Detectives arrested an alleged drug dealer and then searched his East 27th Street residence, seizing an AK-47 and 3,180 glassine envelopes of heroin, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.

Bryant Nevers, 24, has been charged with seven drugs and three weapons offenses. He was observed exiting his residence and getting into a vehicle. Detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested him after seeing 20 glassine envelopes of heroin in plain view on the driver’s side door.

Nevers also had 250 glassine envelopes of heroin and $1,530 cash in his possession.

Nevers’s two passengers — Marshea Anthony and Tajshmer Johnson – in the vehicle were also arrested on drug offenses after detectives located 270 glassine envelopes of heroin in the center console.

Anthony and Johnson were charged with possession and intent to distribute drugs. Johnson had $3,280 cash that was seized as drug proceeds.

Detectives then went to Nevers’s residence on East 27th Street. They seized 3,180 glassine envelopes of heroin, a loaded AK-47 gun, and $3,805 cash.

Heroin seized has a street value of $11,000, authorities said.

Nevers, Anthony, and Johnson are being held at the Passaic County Jail.

Clean up paterson, keep working on it. It can be one of the most stunning cities anywhere-but have to clean out all this. Keep it up, I remember when it was safe to walk around Paterson-well not completely but better than now. And that was 50 years ago.
