A city man was wounded in a shooting on Straight Street early Monday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 34-year-old, was struck by gunfire at around 7:41 p.m. He arrived at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center via private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police believe a lone gunman shot the victim when he was on Straight and Lafayette streets. Police found a crime scene at the location.
