Jersey City pair wounded in Paterson shooting


Two Jersey City men were wounded in a shooting in Paterson early Saturday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police said the victims – 30-year-old and 28-year-old – were struck by gunfire on Market and Cianci streets at around 2:10 a.m.

Both arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center by private vehicle seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
