Two women were wounded in a shooting on East 23rd Street on Monday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victims – 23-year-old of Bloomfield and 21-year-old of Paterson – were struck by gunfire on East 23rd Street and Hamilton Avenue at around 3:44 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene on report of a shooting, but could not locate the victims. Both women arrived via private vehicle at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds
