A city man traveling in a car on Summer Street was wounded by gunfire when another vehicle began shooting on Sunday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 21-year-old, was an occupant in the vehicle traveling on Summer and Cedar streets at around 5:42 p.m.

A person in another vehicle began shooting, striking the victim, authorities said.

The victim arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
