The police are investigating a pair of back-to-back shootings which occurred on Monday, leaving two people wounded, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said a 16-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man were injured in the separate shootings.
Authorities said the first shooting happened on Presidential Boulevard and West Broadway at around 5:57 p.m. They said the boy was struck by gunfire and arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Police said the second shooting happened on East 25th Street and 15th Avenue at around 8:20 p.m. They said the man was in his vehicle at the intersection when he was struck by gunfire. Police found him at the scene and had him transported to the hospital for treatment.
