Paterson man killed in Auburn Street shooting

A man was killed in a shooting on Auburn Street on Tuesday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Nasir Davis, 25, of Paterson, was shot at around 9:17 p.m. on Auburn and Fair streets. He was discovered inside a vehicle in the area.

Police rushed him to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. He was pronounced dead at less than an hour later, police said.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Detective Bureau at 973-321-1120.

    So let's build more luxury apartments. Give the builders tons of tax breaks. Eventually they will become section 8 housing. And repeat and recycle. Yes paterson will get better

      as long as red lining is still a thing and charters cause taxes to go through the roof, Paterson will never get better, There is big money in poverty . The developers, the charter school boards, the corrupt politicians that get their kickbacks etc etc
