15-year-old girl killed in Paterson shooting, four others injured

A girl from North Haledon, who was shot in the head, died late Wednesday evening. Four other people were injured in the same shooting on Essex Street in Paterson, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The girl, 15-year-old, was found lying in front of 36 Essex Street at around 10:20 p.m. She had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was dead at the scene.

Four Paterson men — 29, 26, 32, and 21 — were also shot in the incident. They sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and are receiving treatment at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.

Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Detective Bureau at 973-321-1120.

  That’s exactly why he won. All the other promised to get tuff on crime and that’s a big no no if you want to win in a city full of Democrats. He know how to play the game. Look at NYC and Chicago, they always elect someone to go with the flow and won’t disrupt a thing.
