A city man was wounded in a shooting on Lawrence Street on Sunday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 31, was struck by gunfire on Lawrence and Mercer streets at around 7:56 p.m. He managed to get himself to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center via private vehicle for treatment.

The victim sustained a non-fatal gunshot injury, authorities said.
