Haskell man wounded in Paterson shooting


A man from Haskell was wounded in a shooting in Paterson early Saturday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 36-year-old, was struck by gunfire at around 2:51 a.m. on Prospect and Market streets in Paterson.

He got himself to Saint Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center by private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
