A 26-year-old city man was shot on Pearl Street on Friday night.

Paterson police said that the victim arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center at approximately 10:59 p.m. with a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.

The shooting is believed to have taken place in the area of Pearl Street and Summer Street, based on the initial investigation.
