A woman and a man were wounded in a shooting on West Broadway in Paterson on Monday evening.

Police responded to the area of West Broadway and Matlock Street at approximately 6:07 p.m. on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police located a 37-year-old female Paterson resident suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. Aid was immediately rendered, and she was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

A short while later, a 35-year-old male East Orange resident arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson via private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
