The police are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Thursday in the area of Belmont Avenue and North 10th Street.

A 42-year-old male Jersey City resident was found suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. He was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
