A man was discovered shot to death inside a vehicle parked on Route 19 and Ward Street in downtown Paterson, according to authorities.

Police located the unidentified victim inside the vehicle at around 5:37 a.m. He had died from a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.

The incident remains under investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the Paterson Police Detective Bureau at 973-321-1120.
