A man was wounded in a shooting on Lawrence Street on Monday evening.

The victim, 23, of Paterson, was struck by gunfire on Lawrence and Mercer streets at around 6:49 p.m.

Police had him transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. He sustained non-fatal gunshot injuries.
