Sheriff’s raid on Harrison Street captures Paterson drug dealer and two fugitives

Shawn-e-Nero

An alleged drug dealer and two fugitives were arrested in a raid at a house on Harrison Street, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.

Shawn E. Nero, 50; Keishon D. Miller, 49; Tiffany O. Arvelo, 36, all of Paterson, were picked up on Thursday when law enforcement raided second and third floors of 184 Harrison Street.

Nero has been charged with six drug offenses. Miller was arrested on an outstanding Passaic County child support warrant.

Miller had 6 folds of heroin and 2 baggies of crack-cocaine, sheriff said.

Arvelo also had an active warrant. She was wanted for a criminal warrant for endangering the welfare of a child.

Nero was allegedly dealing drugs out of 184 Harrison Street, according to a two-week investigation by the sheriff’s office.

Detectives set up surveillance outside in advance of raiding his residence. He was observed exiting the address and departing the area. He was pulled over in a vehicle stop and his apartment was raided.

A search of his apartment yielded 300 folds of heroin; 51 vials of crack-cocaine; one pellet (BB) gun; and $400.00 in suspected drug proceeds.

Drug seized in the investigation is worth $3,000 on the streets.

Nero, Miller, and Arvelo were processed and subsequently transferred to the Passaic County Jail.
