Paterson man dead in Park Avenue shooting


A 33-year-old man from Paterson was fatally shot early Friday morning.

Paterson Police Department officers responded to a shooting report at around 12:44 a.m. near the intersection of Park Avenue and Straight Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim with a gunshot wound.

The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Authorities have confirmed that the investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing. No suspects have been named, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear.

      He doing a much better job that the former leader, we need to get the kids off the streets and have the parents do a better job, don't expect the police to do what the parents should be doing
