A man has been arrested for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography, according to acting Passaic County Sheriff Gary Giardina.

George L. Taboada-Rojano, 34, of Paterson, has been charged with distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Law enforcement received information he was allegedly sharing video files of child sexual abuse via an online messaging service. Taboada-Rojano’s residence was visited by detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce on Thursday.

Taboada-Rojano told detectives he came across child abuse materials on the internet. He allowed detectives to take and forensically analyze his personal cell phone. He was later charged and taken into custody.
