A shooting investigation is underway in Paterson following the hospitalization of a 31-year-old man with gunshot wounds.

The incident unfolded Saturday at 4:36 p.m., leading law enforcement to the intersection of Summer and Fulton streets after receiving reports of a possible shooting. Initially, no victims were found at the scene, but police were later informed that the injured man had arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in a private vehicle for treatment of his wounds.
