A 16-year-old was hospitalized following a shooting incident in Paterson on Sunday afternoon. Authorities were alerted to the incident around 2:39 p.m., with officers promptly dispatched to the intersection of 12th Avenue and Auburn Street.

Upon arrival, police discovered the teenage victim, who had sustained gunshot injuries. The individual was swiftly transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of non-fatal wounds. Officials reported that a potential crime scene was identified in the vicinity.
