A 15-year-old was treated for a non-fatal gunshot wound at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson on Tuesday afternoon. The incident prompted a response from the police to investigate the circumstances surrounding the injury.

At approximately 3:33 p.m., police were dispatched to the medical center following a report of the teenager’s arrival with a gunshot wound. Police believe the shooting occurred in the vicinity of North 8th and Oxford streets.
