A man was found dead early Monday morning following a reported fight in Paterson, according to police. The incident occurred at approximately 1:54 a.m., when officers were dispatched to the intersection of Straight Street and 16th Avenue.

Upon arrival, the police located an unresponsive 31-year-old male inside a basement apartment in the area. The victim, identified as a resident of Paterson, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
