Three people were injured in a shooting at the intersection of Lyon and East 16th streets on Saturday evening.

The victims, a 28-year-old male and a 31-year-old female from Paterson, along with a 23-year-old female from Haledon, were taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center with non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Police said the incident occurred around 7:50 p.m.

Authorities have located a possible crime scene and are investigating the shooting. Police are requesting that anyone with information contact the police shooting investigation unit at 973-321-1342.
