Two men were injured in a shooting on Carroll Street early Friday morning.

At approximately 3:47 a.m., members of the police were dispatched to the area of Carroll Street and Godwin Avenue following a report of a shooting.

Police located a 40-year-old man from Paterson who had suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Additionally, police were informed that a 33-year-old man from Paterson had arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center via private vehicle, also seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Members of the police located a potential crime scene in the area.
