A man was wounded in a shooting on Wednesday in the area of 12th Avenue and East 22nd Street. The incident occurred at approximately 3:09 p.m., prompting a response from police.

Officers learned that a 28-year-old man from Paterson, suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound, had arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center by private vehicle. Police later identified a potential crime scene in the area.
