A man, who was later found lifeless was dropped off at a gas station near 20th Avenue, on Sunday afternoon, off route 20. Police are unsure if the man was dead at the time of drop off. Someone at the gas station called the police after noticing the dead corpse near the pump, reported The Record.
The police arrived, placed a sheet over the dead body, and temporary closed down the gas station; there were no visible gunshot wounds or stab marks on the man, which could mean he was not a victim of crime, but the police are not sure, they are awaiting the autopsy results from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Body dumping is often the hallmark of violent gangs and organized crime groups. Police are still investigating.
