The former councilman for Paterson’s 2nd ward, Mohammed Akhtaruzzaman, is in court again, this time seeking to reverse the Sept.12 decision made by a New Jersey Superior Court Judge, Thomas F. Brogan.

A hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 12, 2012.

It is unlikely that Mr Akhtaruzzaman will be able to gain anything from the appeal because it is the same judge and the evidence or the bit he is using as the foundation of his case is too flimsy to result in an overturn.

While the court business continues, Mr Akhtaruzzaman is running for the special election for the 2nd ward, battling his old foes and few new ones.
