Police caught 4 men who attempted to steal a generator connected to an Optimum cable truck on Hospital Plaza. reported another paper.

Jose Guerrero, 22-year-old, of Elk Street, who had in his possession an illicit gun, but unwittingly did not use it during the attempt, was arrested by Paterson Police and charged with resisting arrest among other charges.

The other three were: Wilfredo Lopez and Rupert Juarez, both 22, of Spring Street;  and Geovany Rayo-Guerrero, 25, of Main Street.

All 4 have been charged with robbery.
