A woman, who was outside with a group of people on East 19th Street, was wounded in the right hand on Sunday afternoon, according to the Paterson Police Department.

The victim, 26-year-old, was with a group of people, at around 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, when a lone gunman approached the group and began firing.

The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. The Sunday afternoon shooting tallied up to a total of 3 possibly connected incident that took place over the weekend.

The first incident happened on Friday night, when a teenager was shot near Holsman Street; and the second happened during the early morning hours of Sunday when a 33-year-old man was wounded on Temple Street.

All three incidents are being investigated by police.
