City council president William McKoy is hosting a back to school cookout at the pocket park located in the corner of Vreeland and 19th Avenues on Saturday, August 29th, 2015.

The 3rd Ward councilman’s event runs from 3 to 8 p.m. Food, games, and music will be featured at the cookout.

Free school supplies will be given out at the event. There will also be a free computer giveaway.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of Bill McKoy Foundation and a number of local businesses.
